Weymouth and Portland Lions Club have given a boost to the Merchant Navy Association Memorial Appeal by donating £250. Plans are in place to build a memorial on the Esplanade remembering those who lost their lives in the Merchant Navy. The memorial will also remember those who lost their lives whilst being part of fishing fleets.
