Weymouth celebrates it’s 70th Christmas Day Swim

This annual event which has been run by the Lions since the mid 70’s has grown immensely with 330 brave souls taking the plunge this year raising thousands of pounds for their chosen charity. A Christmas Treat for the Senior Citizens from the Lions

Tuesday saw the Lions annual free show at the Pavilion for the senior folk of Weymouth and Portland and nearby. The show featured local entertainers Pzazz, Weymouth Operatic Society, Maisie Sheridan and the Decadettes, and I would like to thank them all for appearing for free and delighting the audience. Thanks also to local band Replay, fronted by Lion Norman Stagles, who wowed the audience wi...
