An all-day ‘Street Busk’ held in Weymouth town centre by Weymouth & Portland Lions Club raised £645 with the help of the Weymouth Community Volunteers .
Weymouth band ‘Replay’ , fronted by Lions member Norman Stagles, held the stage for most of the day entertaining the public with their take on 50’s and 60’s music, with support from Norman’s wife Ann on vocals and filling in during breaks, musician/ country & western singer Brian Lincoln.
The Lions next event is a Charity Golf Day , Friday 5th August 2016, at Weymouth Golf Course and the Beach Motocross on Sunday 16th October 2016 on Weymouth sands.
