Lion David Taylor informed members that the district had 61 clubs and no 2 were the same. Some clubs were pro-active, like ours, while others were very staid because all clubs were autonomous and each decided how they would be run. Lion David went on to remind members that the district, in the form of cabinet, was there to help every club with any problem they may have. He had learned much from visiting clubs one thing being the distribution of MiaB bottles. One club set up a stall at their surgeries flu jab day and gave them to anyone who wanted one. VDG asked members to be proud to wear their Lions badge or club shirt and promote LCI/LCIF to let people know what we do not only locally but worldwide. VDG presented Lion Mike Rossiter with his 20 year chevron.
Lion President thanked VDG for his talk and presented with him a club bannerette. Lion VDG presented Lion President with his clubs bannerette and the DG’s personal pin for 2015-2016.
