UKRAINIAN REFUGEE APPEAL   DONATION

Weymouth & Portland Lions Club, along with many other Lions clubs throughout the United Kingdom and beyond, answered the call recently from LCIF and made a £500 donation towards the Ukrainian Refugee Appeal. This would allow Lion’s club’s in Romania, Poland, Moldova and Hungary to access funding to help with the refugee crisis. We issued a press release and invited members of the public to join in our donation. We are pleased to report that a further £700 was donated by members of the public. This makes a grand total of £1,200 that has been forwarded on to LCIF.
