Visitors and locals alike enjoyed the music with many taking to dancing in the street. Replay, as ever, gave their usual sterling performance and Tony Lowe added a touch of class to the event with his crooner style blend of classic Sinatra, Bublé and Tom Jones songs.

Lions President Roger Hogbin said “We had another successful busk yesterday. So first of all, on behalf of the members of the Weymouth and Portland Lions Club, I would like to give a very big thank you to the excellent performers who gave their time to help the Lion’s club raise funds for its charity fund. Your support for this event is very much appreciated. Your performances all went down very well with an appreciative public, who gave generously, as always, and all of the money we raised at this event will go to good causes”.

The Busk was fronted by ‘Replay’ featuring Lions Club member Norman Stagles. The lineup included:

  • Ken Watkins – Guitarist
  • Tony Lowe –
  • Brian Lincoln – Irish songs
  • Ukeholics
  • Maisie Sheridan
  • Bill Solo – Mr Tambourine Man
  • Replay featuring Annie Mac
