The audience were entertained by a wealth of local talent headed up by that ever popular band ‘Replay’ who hit the right spot with their 50’s & 60’s numbers and led by our very own Lion, Norman Stagles.

A high spot of the evening was the presentation of a ‘Melvin Jones Fellowship Award’ to Ann Stagles in recognition of the many years she has organised and produced this show along with her husband Norman. This award is very rarely given to anyone who is not a member of Lions and is the highest award that a club can give

Lions club President Mark Lockie presents the award to Ann Stagles with husband Norman looking on.

The Lions are extremely grateful for the support of all the artistes who gave their time freely: ‘The Voice of Cool Swing’ Darron Garnett , Harmony group The Decadettes, Former ‘Yettie’ Bonny Sartin, Sea Shanty group ‘Dorset Wrecks and those talented young people from WOW who gave their usual polished performance. Members of the Lions club gave a spirited Morris Dancing performance!
