4,000 Message in a Bottle (MIB) have been given out over the last two years, increasing year on year, to improve the safety of citizens in the borough of Weymouth and Portland.

Basically, a sticker by your front door will alert emergency services that there will be one of these containers in the refrigerator which gives details of the patient, ailments, medication etc. This information can be a ‘life saver’ in an emergency, particularly for people who live alone.

 

Lion President Roger Hogbin along with Lion Ray Banham paid a visit to Safewise, at the Fire Station in Radipole Lane, with another box of 100.

then onto nearby Westhaven Hospital with another box of 100.
