Building on the fantastic success of the inaugural event last year where over 40 different acts took to the stage and entertained the public over two days. The Lions and Weymouth BID hope to even better last year’s event.

There will be a line-up of dancers, singers, musicians and bands performing at five different stage positions around the town centre over the two days. The feed- back from the public last year was very encouraging with one person commenting that “the town came to life as a community”.

Following the success of last year’s first ‘OUTLOUD’ music and dance Festival in Weymouth’s shopping streets Weymouth Lions Club in partnership with Weymouth BID are organizing another even better one this year! The format will basically be the same with a main stage outside Debenhams and a further 3 or 4 other stages spread around the Town Centre. We know that last year’s event was very well received, attracted families and children and increased footfall and customer ‘stay’. We intend to do even better this year more acts; more continuous music; more dance groups, an even wider spread of stages, more publicity and signs etc.

There is also likely to be a separate OUTLOUD night-time event organised on the Esplanade.
