Lion Club President Roger Hogbin said: As President of the Weymouth and Portland Lions Club and Julie’s sponsor, I am extremely pleased to welcome her both as a member and especially as our first female member, which is a significant milestone for the club. I am very confident that Julie, a long-time supporter of Lions, brings both skills and personality that will help us to continue to provide support and assistance to the local community.

Julie Storey commented: I am both honoured and delighted to have joined the Weymouth & Portland Lions Club and be the first female member.  I very much look forward to working with all existing members to assist in carrying on their great work.
