The Lions will holding their annual Street Busk in Weymouth town centre, raising funds for their Charity Account from 10.00 am through to 3.00pm. The public will be entertained by that ever popular 50's & 60's band 'Replay' which is fronted by Lions Club member Norman Stagles, also featuring: Ken Watkins, Blazing Strings TBC, Wyke Ukedelics, Brian Lincoln, Ann and Norman.  

SORRY, ENTRY TO THIS EVENT IS NOW CLOSED The aim of the day is not only to raise funds for our Charity Fund but also to enjoy the company of our invited guests and the excellent facilities offered by Weymouth Golf Club. We do hope you will be able to take part in this worthy fund raiser as all the proceeds will go to our Charity Fund which is mainly spent in the local community helping those less fortunate than ourselves. For over 30 years the Purbeck Motocross Club has organised the Weymouth Beach Motocross event in association with the Weymouth and Portland Lions Club. This year the event will take place on Sunday 16th October when over 300 riders will battle it out in a series of races throughout the afternoon across the golden sands of Weymouth beach. Building on the fantastic success of the inaugural event last year where over 40 different acts took to the stage and entertained the public over two days. The Lions and Weymouth BID hope to even better last year’s event.
